Victoria Larson | Designer

Art makes a home.
Art wallpaper makes it even better.

My mission is to create wallpaper with soul, style, and approachability that conjures up the homeowner’s favorite memories.

  • Every pattern tells a story

Really. Designs are based on my childhood growing up on the Chesapeake Bay and my travels to far-flung places, captured in my trusty sketchbooks.

  • Customer care

Customer Service is just as important to me as design. After all, if you can’t get information when you need it, it doesn’t matter how pretty the wallpaper is.

  • Handcrafted Design

Artful wallpaper isn’t just a slogan for me. I strive to create designs that are unique and based on an art-first approach. I hand paint or sketch each design to start the process.

Meet Victoria Larson

My designs reflect the joy of childhood summer days, the essence of the sea, and the natural beauty of simple patterns.

I am a creator and storyteller, weaving tales through textile and pattern design. My work draws inspiration from the sea's beauty and soul, celebrating art for art’s sake, fine materials, skilled craftsmanship, and the uplifting power of design on the human spirit.

After choosing to stay home with my twin girls, I rediscovered my passion for painting and block printing. This journey led me to launch my first collection of hand screen-printed fabrics in 2010, followed by wallpaper and printed grasscloth. My collection is a blend of a lifelong love for painting, art, and design.

Growing up around the Chesapeake Bay, it's no surprise that many of my designs are influenced by water and light. My travels with my professional sailor husband to coastal towns worldwide provided endless inspiration for my sketchbook.

I also license designs to fabric company Stout Textiles and home brand Cailini Coastal, as well as white label designs for tabletop and swimwear companies.

As the CEO of VLT, I combine my passion for design with a business acumen. With a business degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a certificate from the Maryland Institute College of Art, I am dedicated to integrating design and business seamlessly.

Most days, you can find me in the coastal town of Annapolis with my husband and rescue doodle. My twin girls have grown and flown.
